Parents of our youth plan, organize and conduct a monthly youth devotional. Our youth devotionals consist of a period of fellowship with one another, singing, prayer and a time of Bible study. Midtown hosts F.U.E.L. Youth Rally annually in the month of April. F.U.E.L. stands for Faith, Understanding, Excellence, and Leadership. Various speakers are invited to speak…

In addition to teaching our children in Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes, we have a regular ladies’ class that meets weekly on Tuesday mornings throughout the year. Additionally, our ladies are involved in encouraging works like writing notes of encouragement to the sick, bereaved and shut-in.…
Ladies’ Bible Classes
There are several opportunities for women to engage in serious study of the word of God and in prayer together. There’s a ladies’ class on Tuesday at 10 AM at the building and other opportunities for women to study together.
In addition to reaching out and serving our local community, we are proud to support these programs of other congregations of churches of Christ. John Moore at Bible Land Passages Student Support at the Southwest School of Bible Studies
Midtown seeks to be prepared to help those in need in our community. We strive to follow the instruction of Galatians 6:10, “…do good to all men…” We understand that, like Christ, we must have compassion for our fellow-man (Matthew 9:36). The Midtown congregation seeks to assist those who are truly in need. We have a system in place to assess the needs of those who make request of us, and to meet the needs of those in our community.
In addition to each individual Christian’s responsibility to share the Gospel with those around them, we endeavor to have organized programs that allow us as a congregation to effectively evangelize. Compassion Card Program We seek to encourage those who are hurting by sending notes of encouragement. Canvassing Each quarter we distribute material throughout neighborhoods in Victoria, inviting people to our worship services and offering Bible studies. Door-knocking In preparation for Gospel meetings or other events, we door-knock to give personal…
